The town is situated in a charming valley surrounded by well-kept green woods and it is world-famous thanks to the results of the cure and excellent quality of the natural springs. There are around 100 springs of cold ferrite acidulous water of various chemical consistences. The first springs have been known since the XVI^th century.

Several times a day you can see and hear a singing fountain in the main park next to the colonnade.
